Wool from the Wensleydale is acknowledged as the finest luster long wool in the world. It is an endangered breed and is categorized as "at risk" by the Rare Breeds Survival Trust.

This fleece is extremely soft and silky, full of shine and comes with long dramatic curls. The backing material is gray Shetland wool felt.
